Marketing Audit
It's tough to boost your growth
if you don't know
what you're missing
What is a Marketing Audit?
You don’t take medicine before you know what’s wrong with you. So why invest in marketing before you know where the opportunities are?
An audit will look at everything that impacts how your business is perceived and how you attract potential customers. We talk to your sales people, your internal teams, and existing customers, and dig into the data to understand what’s working and where you can improve.
What does a Marketing Audit include?
The first step is to understand your goals, and your current status. We’ll look at the following:
Your positioning: Who you are, what you claim, and how potential customers see you
Your presence: Where you’re seen, and how you look
Your prospecting: How you attract and convert customers
We use the PADE model – Position, Awareness, Demand Gen and Enablement – to assess the four key areas of marketing, and identify areas for improvement.
This includes a deep dive into:
- Messaging
- Website design and SEO
- Digital presence, social media and advertising
And then what happens?
The audit will tell you what’s working, and where you can have an impact. What to stop doing, and where to double-down. But it’s not just a list of problems, it gives you actionable insights. Providing a roadmap showing how to improve your market position, fix tactical issues, and set yourself up for growth.
It may include recommended freelancers or agencies if specialized help is required. And, of course, Solent Strategies can help implement the recommendations, But the goal is to provide a roadmap for growth that will be useful with or without our help.
